Jay Sheveck (pen-name and brand, Beer Guppy™) is a freelance beer journalist and filmmaker. Since the early 1990s, Jay's films, photographs and articles have chronicled the craft-beer movement, and have appeared in American Brewer, American Breweriana Journal, BEERWeek, Brewing News, Celebrator Beer News, Market Watch and The Local Flavor column in 5th Street magazine. 

Larger projects in the resumé: Jay produced the independent documentary Beer Pioneers™, which explored the earliest origins of microbreweries, home-brewing and real ale. He also researched, wrote, and published The Beer Guppy's Guide to Southern California (©2007 Beer Guppy™ Multimedia, Burbank, Calif.), with more on the way soon!
